Baby won't settle at night.
I've spent the last month spending 3 hours a night trying to get my lo to sleep. I've tried rocking with him, letting him fall asleep next to me, standing by his crib soothing him, putting a shirt or blanket under him with my smell, letting him cry it out (never again), and nursing him to sleep. He will fall asleep no problem in my arms, but the SECOND I lay him down he screams. I'm out of ideas.
Sleep with him in your arms. I know everyone everywhere advises against it and it sounds uncomfortable but sometimes that's the only way I can get some sleep. Wrap ur arms around him like you're holding him, but put a pillow under him to keep him elevated and sleep next to him that way (so his heads in ur arm but body is laying on a pillow). That's what I do
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My baby is 2 today!! I literally cried myself to sleep last night snuggling with him. (yeah, I let him sleep in my bed last night bc I he wanted to & I wanted him to) lol
Why are birthdays so hard for meeee?! 😭😭😭
Using the "cry it out" approach with my 3week old in order to get him to sleep in his own bed. He cried for 30 mins before falling asleep! Spoiled baby!
What would you do? I feel so stupidly selfish if I choose to be induced because I want my boy to come when he is ready, but I am also feeling selfish stressing him out because everything going on and how stressed I am. So do I continue to stress him out or do I get induced and deal with this and let him be? Or will he be okay? I've been up all night contracting on and off but could it be from my nerves?
Maybe baby is overstimulated? What time do you put him down? Do you have a night time bed routine?
