Anyone experience strange discharge right after getting Mirena placed?

I've got incredibly thick blood tinged mucus without any odor. It's strange.

My doctor used Monsel's solution (I think that's the name) to stop bleeding. It can make discharge look brownish, clumpier, and it sometimes smells weird.
