Does anyone have an idea as to what this is? It's just on both of his ears. No other area.

It looks like many acne or dry skin. My 8 week old just got over it. I just put baby oil all over his head everyday after his baths.

I agree cradle cap

My son had this and it turned out to be a staph infection. He had scratched himself by his ear and within a week his whole face broke out in a rash. We just spent the last two days in the children's hospital. It's exactly how you described.

It's cradle cap. My Lo has it as well.

It's nowhere other than his ears. His skin is EXTREMELY rough where it's at. I remove it when he has a bath, but it comes back in a few hours. Ive tried Aquaphor.

Is it just dry skin? Or feel like acne? Try putting breast milk on it. I take a q tip and get all the dry skin off LOs eat on the inner part and just wipe off the outer

Looks like ear wax. Do you wash his ears when you take a bath? Not q tips. Just the rag.
