Just went through this! My daughter's levels were at 19 two days ago and we were able to get the light therapy blanket delivered to our house. Not even 24 hours later she was down to 10.8 and no need for the lights anymore! 2 days of pricking her tiny little foot..I couldn't take any more!

My son had a 6.1 with his testing. Took him to the pedia yesterday and he's doing fine. Stay positive.

My son didn't have jaundice :( I'm worried about my daughter having it :( my prayers are with you he should be home safe and sound soon mama

I didn't know this, but if bilirubin levels are too high for too long it can cause brain damage.

He has jaundice (most, if not all, babies do). His levels are a lot higher than they should be, so they have him under a blue light because it helps the bilirubin to clear his system.

Ftm so I have no idea what this means... Why is he having to do this? Keeping yall in my prayers.
