Trigger shot for FET
Has anyone used trigger shot for frozen transfer? This is my 2nd transfer but my first with trigger shot? Is that normal to get triggered for frozen transfer? My transfer will be on Wednesday November 1 and I triggered yesterday October 25.
My first fet was without trigger and it was a chemical pregnancy but that was due to the polyp. I hope and pray that this one works since the polyp was finally removed ????
Hey Von Yes my transfer is 11/1. I started progesterone and estrace today. So far on Tuesday my lining was at 11 and I had a follicle at 18mm.
I’m really not sure but it does make sense that you can use a trigger shot with a frozen transfer. Perhaps to balance out your hormones as if it were like a natural cycle. If you triggered on 10/25, then your body will be naturally releasing an egg around 10/27 which would not be fertilized. So 10/27 is basically like day 0 of IVF transfer and then I’m assuming 5 days later you’ll have a 5 day frozen blastocyst transfer on 11/1? And in the meantime be started on meds to thicken your uterine lining
I really hope it’s successful this time. Can’t handle another chemical
Am curious but doc said it’s to manage the timing. Weird but I hope it works ??
No Follicle scan or trigger!! :'(
So I found out today that my insurance doesn't cover any fertility treatments. No follicle scan or trigger shot now!!!
Trigger warning
What is your opinion on the Philando Castile shooting? I just saw a recording of his 4 year old telling the mom not to scream so she doesn't get shot. That video broke my heart. I haven't read into the whole thing but do you think the cop was in the right?
Frozen transfer
Hey girls how many of you had success with Frozen transfer? And why did you chose frozen or why your doc prefer frozen over fresh? Did they give you meds for FET?
Also by when was the hcg trigger out your system? Definitely can’t test early right?
