My re decided to give it a try and transfer one this upcoming Friday. He said if it doesn't work then we definitely know that the polyp has to be removed. Please pray for me ??

I have had 3 polyps removed - two different procedures over the past year and a half. My RE wouls not continue with IUI or IVF until they were taken care of.

In June one of the RE at my clinic did a hysteroscopy and he didn't see any polyps I guess it's hard to see. I also had a endo scratch with hysteroscopy and that doc didn't see it either. What a luck I have.

I'm surprised your RE won't do it, my RE removed my polyps during a hystroscopy.

Should I get another opinion from another Gyn? My Re doesn't remove it that's why he sent me to a Gyn ?

I also had polyps removed prior to FET. My RE wouldn't do a transfer till my polyps was removed. It can affect implantation if left there. What ever you decide to do wishing you get your bfp.

I really want to remove it but my Gyn said the location can damage the uterus ? but what if I can't get pregnant should I still remove it and take my chances

I also had polyps and had them removed prior to FET in February. My RE told me that its based case by case and if its a significant size it makes implantation more complicated and have less % of success.

Polyps do make implantation a little more difficult but I will tell you this- my mom got pregnant with me with polyps.

She told me after I was diagnosed with one. My RE confirmed that you can in fact get pregnant with a polyp (depending on location) but she suggested to remove mine so she can work with a brand new uterine lining.
