Pumping question

When I pump I do it while lo is nursing on other side. I've been only getting a little over 1 oz to 1 and half oz when I do pump. When I make the bottles to give to lo, can I combine the different bottles, as long as they are from day same day?? Reason I ask is that if each bottle is only 1 oz then I'm sending maybe 10 bottles to day care, as I'm not sure yet how much lo takes from bottles. I go back to work in week and half, I'm going to try to get her started on bottles soon!

why do they both have to be cold to combine?

But when they are cold the milk separates and is hard to combine! Thats a similar problem that I run into.

You can't add warm milk to cold or frozen like pp said they both have to be cold and not frozen

I've read you can but wait until they are both cold to combine.

I combine my pumped bottles to make 3 oz bottles. I don't see why not but I'm not an expert. Maybe ask your lactation consultant. If u can't get a real answer on here. I'm sure u will though

For Fun

With most of us in a sleep regression or exhausted from being working moms, or just plain bored I figured it would be fun to get a little game started... so who's up for 2 truths and a lie? It's easy.. you post 3 facts about yourself, 2 true and 1 lie and when you guess you post yours here's mine:

Yep your right Mary. I only have one. Want more but haven't got there yet!!!
Omg keep that pack away from me ?
Gee I'm late and missed so much. Can't wait to come back later and read them all.
