Getting house ready with a 3 year old whirlwind of destruction!
How are you second time plus mothers getting your house ready for baby? Last pregnancy I had everything in order and it stayed that way. I keep getting it back in order to have it back at square 1 a couple days later. So exhausting!! I literally have no energy to keep doing full house cleans every other day. Maybe I’m doing it wrong!

Girl I feel ya. This baby # 3 and boy #3 for us. And omg i cant keep my house clean for more than 2 min. I pretty much clean when the kids are at nanas and by the next day you'd never guess it. And on top of that the arguing & tantrums...whew. I feel ya ?
We are trying to paint nursery and a childlock is keeping that out of bounds while all the baby stuff is piling up behind the locked doors of the office.
Oh and the floors havent been mopped in like 2 months. Told my husband i literally can't. He's gotta do it or i will end up in labor. Last time i did it it about did me in
All of the baby stuff is organized in the guest bedroom. I explained to my son, who just turned 4, that it's stuff for the baby and not to touch it. Since baby will be in my room for the 1st few months she doesn't have a room set up. I just focus on 1 thing at a time and it's usually taking care of my son. Don't stress the housework too much.
Honestly my house is a mess. I mean don't get me wrong, my bathrooms and my kitchen are clean, but I have a pile of clean clothes that I don't even want to hang up, theres toys everywhere and nothing is really in its place. I'm so tired now, dh works 12 hour days so it's just me keeping up with the house and I have a 3 year old. But honestly as long as its clean I'm not too worried about it being organized.
Woken up to the worse back pains ever I had to get on all fours for it do it but it keeps coming back😩😣and it hurts to walk😩
can't decide if i want to go back doing 2 classes or keep doin 1 each term... if i keep doing 1 i'll still have 4 years if i go to two again i'll have 2 years left... i'm nervous to go back to two cause i feel like i'll be so stressed out even tho Kenny said he'd help around the house (🤨) but so ready to get school over with
Clean house vs playing with your kids
This is always a fun one. I often hear the excuse of "I would rather play with my kids then have a spotless house" as a reason for not having a clean house (and I don't mean clutter...I mean actually dirty). Personally I think that's a load of crap. I have quite a few kids who are disgusting pigs....but my house is always company ready and I don't spend all day cleaning in order to keep it looking nice and presentable. Granted I do have indentured servants...
so I have to have a c section...how do I even get ready mentally and physically for this? help!?!? 😢
What do you do if you have no where to go and you get kicked out of your mom's house.
Awesome! Thanks for all the tips. Glad to know I’m not the only one struggling with this one. I will definitely have to get more baskets haha. I swear my daughter just finds things and drags them across our house. So running upstairs to downstairs to put little things away is just too exhausting! I’ll have to put a baby lock on his closet because my daughter is so excited and loves going in his closet. I definitely try to focus on clean more than organized lol but definitely feel like both are hard to keep up with. I swear I find gooey or food hand prints everywhere hahaha when I think I’ve got it clean the lighting in the house changes and it’s a mess again! I’ve contemplated just running around without my glasses on lol but then you’ve got a whole host of new problems hahaha.
