Job Rant | I’m gonna rant/vent sorry for long post

Technically the GM should have to go in if nobody else is available. Also you shouldn’t be the only manager scheduled so close to your due date anyways in case these things happen. Sorry that’s happening to you. I know it sucks. You should talk to your gm the next time you see him/her and see if y’all can work something out to where you aren’t the only one working.

The plan was to not have me in the store alone anymore in case this happened... only night I’m alone and I’m in pain and can’t work. & the gm was going to come in if no one was able but since he was trying to help me find somebody else he was gonna be the last resort for sure...his excuse was “I’m in DT right now and I don’t have my car” & since I live in MN and it’s of course super bowl week it’s a bunch of events going on right now.

But I found it very unprofessional how no body could come in

my man works at MCD, he is the manager of the food department (idr what exactly its called lol) but hes basically the right hand to the store manager. she just left on maternity leave this month and i never see him LITERALLY! last night he worked 2-11 didnt leave til 12 to come home and leave for work 6-3 ? and watch he doesnt leave on time either. So i understand you 100%, talk to your district and tell them put there a** straight this is not the time to be slacking
