Slippery roads
So I live in MN ? which today we got snow ❄️ so I was driving to my doctors appointment and right when I was turning into the clinic ,my car decided to have a mind of its own and not turn correctly so Thankfully I hit a light post & stop sign (not another car around) ? now I’m pretty upset for various reasons , i was driving safe The WHOLE way here & right as I’m coming in the accident happens, and also I just bough this 2016 car in September so I’ve only had it 3 Months and it’s bad now because the bumper came off. And the reason why I’m also upset is because I’m thinking that I can get checked here for baby since my seatbelt jerked me back a bit hard and I started cramping no they tell me that I have to go to a different school clinic(downtown) since they don’t have the monitors ??♀️ like how am I suppose to go if I don’t even feel like driving at the moment

Omg that's crazy! Is there someone you can call to drive you? What kind of monitors do they need? Can't they at least check the heartbeat?

Update:
Yes my boyfriend left work early and he took me right away. Which was still scary cause the car in the highway kept slipping & of course I was nervous.
They needed to check the heartbeat & see if I had any contractions so they kept me in L&D triage for 4:30 hours ☹️ I was so bored and they kept waking me up since baby kept moving away from heartbeat monitor.
But every thing is good Thank God. But I’m still a little nervous about driving

I'm in MN too. I feel your pain. Sorry you went through such a terrible experience today. Driving in the snow is never fun. No matter how many days we have that snow falling, plows just do not keep up with the roads and conditions get bad fast without salt. I was out of my house today and driving is a bit stressful because you tense up. ?
