Is it necessary
Is it necessary to fix tongue/lip ties? I think dd has at least a lip tie. She has the line completely down her gum. She has been good on weight gain so far. Her lips don't open wide when bfing and it is hard to get a latch, but other than that she eats well.
You don't have to if it's really not causing a problem. However it could cause a tooth gap later on if it is bad, and most babies with lip ties also have tongue ties which can make bit hard for them to swallow later on or have speech problems. Just something to look into. I did a ton of research decided, we have an appointment next week.
TWW!!

Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
My baby girl had a zip tie tongue she got her fixed when she was 3 days old.
