Cesarean moms... How long did you wear an abdominal binder after your csection??

I also ordered some Bellefits, but I'm not wearing them till I don't mind things touching my incision.

I wore mine constantly, minus sleeping time, for 6 weeks. After that I wore it if I knew I'd be doing a a lot of moving for about another 2-3 weeks.

24 hours after my c-section they had to get me a smaller size, because the one they put on me post op was majorly loose! At the smallest velcro setting it was 2-3 inches away from my body while I was laying down.

I never wore it. It was soo uncomfortable and made it harder to bf

With my first, 8 weeks (major nerve damage ). With my second, 3 weeks.

I never got one with my son, i go in on the 12th for abother csec. Which ones do y'all recommend??

I didn't have one the first time around but I'm definitely getting one next time around. We're trying for a VBAC but I want to be prepared in case of repeat cesarean.

My hospital gave me 2, It hurt so bad without it on.

Literally for almost 2 months

Probably only a week. I should have worn it longer though. It was really painful for me. I stopped when I went home. (I was in the hospital for almost a week).

This time around maybe 2 weeks?

I just wear spanx now to help with the jiggle ?.

When I lose more weight I'll put on my bellefit corset specifically for csection recovery.

I have had 4 csections and never wore one. I tried it but didn't like it.

Mine was an emergency cesarean so I literally had no clue about any of these things afterwards and still don't ! I never wore one but all seems to be well and good now. I'm back in the gym and riding my horses just like before

Until they took everything off and just left the bare scar. So about 3 weeks. It just rubbed it after that. If I would have known about the scar away strips then I would probably have worn it longer.

I didn't wear it at all.

I'm wearing mine now (close to 3 wks pp) but I'll keep on for a bit, then eventually switch to only C-Panty, which also work similarly, but are easier to wear.

I would love if they helped weight-wise, but I'm mostly wearing for comfort right now and mobility.

Maybe two weeks. I lost weight in that area quickly so it didn't do much after that because it didn't fit right.
