Reason #1 to baby wear!

I had a lady try to touch my dd2 while waiting in line in a public restroom. I was waiting to change her diaper; dd2 was 7ish weeks. The lady got pissed when I asked her not to touch my dd. I was even polite. She then Rudely said well she disrupted my dinner screaming the whole time. I just smiled and said oh that's funny bc she just woke up. She had been sleeping the whole time in her ergo.

You're baby is not public property lol!

I know it's a different situation but I work in retail and I had a customer ask if she could feel my belly. And I'm not very outspoken so I said yes not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings and she kept poking my belly and running her finger across my belly button. Heck no never saying yes again. I just casually pulled away like Uhm okay no more.

Lesson learned don't let strangers think they have a right to your baby ! It's your baby not theirs!

My brother's girlfriends mom shows at my parents house on holidays to bring cookies or whatever. Anyway, the first time she showed up I was over there with my baby. I hardly new her. She asked if she could hold so I just let her. (Thinking, no harm done.) After a few minutes she started kissing her cheeks and her forehead. Then she starts saying she wants to be called her auntie. I know it shouldn't, but that really bugged me. Soon after that I took my baby and explained it was time for her to eat. Then when she left she said, " bye my baby." What the heck?!

The right to touch your belly?? Wow...the nerve of some people. Lol.

When I was still pregnant with my son I was on the bus and this guy kept touching my belly (I know not the same) and I asked him repeatedly to stop nicely at first but then more demanding he told me flat out " your pregnant and in public that gives me the right to touch your belly if I want to" I was like no and the bus driver had to make him get off the bus.

I really really really don't like strangers touching my kid. Yesterday I was on the bus and he was in his buggy, some guy sat on the chair behind him which is raised, put his arm over the back of the pram and put his giant gross hand on his head. ?

He scared the crap out my boy and I was pissed, I couldn't move the buggy because a woman with crutches had blocked me in so I told him across the bus to keep his hands of my kid...ugh I wanted to throat punch the ass.

I had this really sweet little 18 month old that I triaged yesterday. After her appt she wanted to give me kisses. I allowed her to give me kisses on the cheek with her moms permission. It was the cutest thing. Lol now as for just plain random folks doing things like that to my kiddos. NO. I always hate when everyone wants to come up to my daughter and touch her hair. It drives me nuts.

I've had to interfere with strangers trying to hug or kiss my kids. I have no problem smacking hands away or putting my hand up stopping them from getting into their personal space. I can't understand why anyone would hug or kiss a strangers child. I don't even kiss my friends kids.

I'm the type of mom that swerves the stroller and makes you stumble if you even reach out to touch my babies lol. I know I may seem a bit dramatic, but I've witness acid thrown in ppl's faces. Not to mention the horrible things strangers walk up and do randomly to kids. So, kissing would be a I would run you over with my stroller, type reaction lol.

Yeah I domt know if I could of got words out either. But alteast she only used her hand. Its still wrong but it could of been worse!

I normally keep my head down in public, like signaling I don't want to be bothered. But whem my daughter is throwimg a tantrum in the store older women always want to put their two sense in and I kindly delcline and tell them don't redirect my child. I havem t delt with kisses though.

I wouldn't mind that. But If she put her lips to my son, I'd probably freak out.

Nope. I don't even like strangers touching my kids though.

Yea, not happening I told her straight out I didn't know her and I wasn't letting her touch my baby. The lady gave me a dirty look and walked away.

That happened to me once, a lady came up behind me and kissed my son's cheek. I was so mad and speechless since she was a complete stranger. Now I make sure I always put myself in between strangers and ds so that no longer happens.

HELL no. I just posted the other day what to say to people without ripping their heads off. Don't touch my baby. Especially if you're in urgent care! Who knows what illness they could have.
