Breast pain?
Is it normal? What is it?!!! My baby is 10 days old and I'm EBF. I get a weird painful sensation, usually in both breasts at the same time, that lasts a few seconds then goes away. It doesn't happen while I'm feeding him though. Just randomly throughout the day. Is this normal? If so, why does this happen? Ouch!

I used to get let down even when I'd hear a random baby cry

Yeap..it's let down...my baby is 2 weeks and I've noticed when it happens I'm getting ready for my next pump.
.....just from reading this I had a let down. Ouch.
Yep, it can happen anytime. While thinking about your baby, hearing someone else's baby cry, heck, just thinking about letdown can cause a letdown. ;)
Oh I see. Maybe that's what it is then. Ugh...it hurts. Thanks!
Yes as your baby is still 'new' and feeding patterns aren't fully established your body/breasts are still trying to regulate and let down can be quite random x
I googled let down and everything I read says that happens DURING breastfeeding. So it can happen at any time then??
It could be your 'let down' your feeling. The older my lo got the more regular this feeling became and I realised it was happening literally just before my lo needed feeding. Then as lo fed from one side I would get this feeling in the the other breast. Over time the feeling became less intense xxx
