Naming your baby.
Would you give your baby a name you can't pronounce? Serious question.

My best friend in middle school was half Korean and named Sara. Her mother born and raised in Korea still had a thick accent and called her Sariah lol we always made fun of her crazy ass mom.
Hispanic people spell and pronounce differently than us.
My.name is Angela but most of my hispanic friends parents always said "Anhella"
SO wanted to give our son a Nepalese name - because that's what he is. But I literally couldn't pronounce 98% of the names, so they were off the table.
So, my answer to your question is No I wouldn't name my child something I couldn't pronounce.
I know families like that and it's usually the grandmother that cannot pronounce the names. And yes the children I know call their grandmother's mom or mommy.
If I can't pronounce it myself, it wasn't even on the list!
No? And maybe she knows how to pronounce it...you said they are hispanic? My family says names different than they are pronounce because of spanish being the first language.
