Same. I had to go back at 8 weeks because my husband lost his job right after DD was born and hasn’t been able to get another. I wish we could switch, it’s so hard to leave her every day ?

It’s so sad you don’t have better maternity leave. We have 12 months, and starting next month extended to 18 months if we want. I love my year at home but after that I’m ready to go back to work and my little guys do great at daycare learning with the other kids.

Girl I’ve been a stay at home mom ever since my son was born so two years and I can’t tell you how ready i am to work ? lmao i love my son sooo much but boy staying home all day with a two year old and three month old will drive you insane. I get to points where i just cry from stress i literally feel like I’m going crazy ?♀️ But I’m sure your baby misses you too and can’t wait to snuggle with you when you get home ❤️☺️

I'm a stay at home mom and it's not easy. I definitely had a break down this morning. When your at work you at least have time to yourself and can use the restroom alone. I love my kids and I'm thankful I can be home but mannnn it's hard!

Agreed, I find relief in going back to work. Sounds bad but I'm being honest. Maybe when you have a fussy pants it's different. For example I can eat lunch at any available window around lunchtime without meetings. At home Some days I wouldn't eat until 3pm because from 11 to 3 was feeding/changing/soothing and then feeding/changing/soothing then finally a nap! And it's nice not to have the sounds of crys as you use the bathroom because someone doesn't want to be set down ... he's getting sooo much better now but that is the state we were in when I went back.
