@shainaboop, it may take a few bottles. Maybe try it again and see ??♀️, best of luck hope it gets better.
Torrbug he's been doing that, that's why I tried size 2 but it didn't work out. :(
I just had to switch to size 2, I figured it out when he was being unusually fussy while eating. He'd suck and then pull away, then repeat to the point feeding time was almost 45 minutes long. I switched and he's been fine ever since
I tried size 2 just to see and it was a disaster lol. He gulped down a little bit and then threw up.
I tried size 2 nipple with Caroline but just like pp there was almost more coming out than in, so i figured she wasnt ready. She is a slow eater tho, takes her a bit to finish her bottle.
With my first born i kept him on size 1 nipples until we weaned from the bottle completely when he was a little over a year old. Never an issue, or frustration on his part. And he could down an 8oz bottle in no time at all.
I'm on Avent bottles. Madeline is still size 1. With occasional size 2 - when I'm too lazy to wash the bottles (we only have 4 of size 1 and 4 of size two).
Few weeks ago I tried size 2 and there was a lot of dribble. When with size 1 there is none.
Past couple of weeks she stopped dribbles from size 2 as well.
I judged it by how long he took to finish his bottle and by if he fell asleep drinking lol. He will 100% fall asleep if the milk isn't flowing fast enough for him. We use Dr Brown bottles, and we are on size 2 nipples. He didn't choke or seem fussed by the upgrade so we have just gone with it. I still breastfeed sometimes and upgrading the nipple hasn't effected wether he wants to nurse or not, so that's wonderful lol.

Mine is too greedy for a size 2. She chokes sometimes on the size 1. I won't even try a size 2 until she's at least 6 months old..?
