Which one should I use until he moves into his own room? The Joovy pack and play or the Fisher Price bassinet? Both are second hand but great condition and barely used. I know the people who gave them to me and they ended up using one of the co-sleeper bassinets that go in your bed (which they also gave me lol). Also, what does everyone who uses the pack and play use as a sheet? Or just no sheets at all?

The only thing is when I have it on the other side of my bed there's no way to maneuver around it lol. Which I could make work. I'm not sure which one would work out better, the bassinet takes up less space but it is lower and my bed is really high. With the pack and play I feel it might be easier for me to get him without getting out of bed. Decisions!

Well it might be easier to keep the pack and play in my room and move the bassinet around room to room in that case. I feel like the pack and play is too big for my living room, I can put it on the side of my bed closest to the wall.

Id use the bassinet in your room and keep the pack n play in the livingroom. With our first we didnt have a bassinet just a pack n play and i moved it from bedroom to living room each day so we could use it during the day for her to nap in or lay in if i was busy and at night to sleep next to me. Once she started sleeping through the night it stayed in the living room and we used it til she was around a year or so. This time we didnt plan to set up our pack n play for a while we have a bassinet and swing all in one i plan to use in our bedroom because its way too small for a pack n play at night and move it to the livingroom during the day until shes sleeping through then itll stay in the living room. I ended up getting a new pack n play and its staying in the livingroom.

With my first I used a pack & play no sheets, but I did put a pad over it like I used in her crib too. I went with the rock & play bassinet this time, saves space!

Walmart has pack and play sheets!

First you can buy pack and play sheets at Wal-Mart or Wal-Mart.com. that's where I got mine. I currently have a pack and play set up in my living room and a rock and sleeper thing in my bedroom. I am using both because we have the room and that way I won't have to move one from one room to the other all the time. When I was pregnant with my first I used my pack and play all the time it was so convenient. I won the rock and sleeper thing so I am going to try it in the bedroom.

I have a pack and play in my room and a foldable sleeper for the living room. That way anywhere your at you can lay baby down and keep an eye on him/her. They sleep a lot in the beginning.

I'm using a pack n play simply because of space. I don't have room for both items. As far as sheets, you can get them from Target or Babies R Us. We opted to use them to protect the mattress from spit up or accidents. Much easier to wash a sheet than the pack n play mattress.

He has a crib in his room too but I want him in my room for at least the first three months. I like how much room the bassinet saves but I also like that the Pack and play puts him a little closer to me since my bed is so high ?. I guess I will have to see what he likes

I have a crib in babies room so he will be going in that, but if I didn't have that I would be putting him in a pack n play. I will be having a bassinet downstairs (I live in a 2 story) so that way when he naps I can just leave him downstairs with me. It's easier to move around, rather than the pack n play which you might have to take up and down to move it

You can buy a fitted sheet for a pack n play. I would suggest since they spit up ect. I'm trying out a bassinet first then pack n play if that doesn't work out. It's whatever works for you and baby

I am planning to use a bassinet. It's more compact and babies are pretty tiny for the 1st few months. Go with what you think is more comfortable since you'll most likely have to get up several times a night to get baby.

Bassinet. It's smaller and portable. You can close it up when u want and reopen when you want, much easier then the playpen. I have the same one and plan on using it.

Religion Conspiracy/Theory

**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
