Burping baby when breastfeeding
So today my coworker mentioned her sister said she read on the Internet that you don't need to burp a baby when breastfeeding. This is something I never gave any thought to, anyone know anything about it? I'll ask my doula as well but I was curious if anyone knew.
Every baby is different my daughter never needed burped she almost burped herself. My son I didn't always burp but he occasionally needed it. When they drink bottles it's more likely. But when nursing sometimes they are ok. P.s neither of my kids spit up like ever and I'm not exaggerating
Thank you EMC for the article!!!
Interesting how there are different responses, I guess it does depend on the baby??
I was just reading about this recently and it really piqued my interest!

I always thought my first born had trouble with some mild reflux bc she spit up a ton, but after reading this, I've considering the idea that I actually aggravated her tummy rather than helped it by burping. Esp since She was EBF at the time and had a great latch = minimal air/gas bubbles.
Scroll down to the burping section. It's good food for thought. I plan on delaying some burping early on to test things out.
I thought it sounded like it wasn't true but I wasn't sure. It's something I never really thought about, I just assumed they would still need to.

Definitely not throwing shade at anyone, just thought this was funny.
When I’m 35 my babies will be
16, 15, and 11
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Breastfeeding.
I am a HUGE breastfeeding advocate. No, I will NOT shame you if you decide to formula feed, and will not tolerate anyone else doing so on my post. Everyone has their own reasons on why they feed their child the way they see fit.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week! Please share your breastfeeding stories and tips!
Hi everyone! @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom here. For today's chat we're going to talk about breastfeeding and pumping in honor of World Breastfeeding Week! Both can seem complicated or stressful, but remember you have lots of support here! With my first son I had things going against us for breastfeeding.
I wish I knew back when he was younger that we could have still tried! With my second...
I breastfed and never had to "burp" him really. He never had gas or colic either but i was a teenager that had no clue what the hell i was doing. LOL
