I was gifted baby powder with my first, & I literally never used it lol. However- it will instantly take sand off your feet (or any other skin) at the beach! I mean like instantly. So I take it in my beach bag :) just a tip!

As long as the baby powder is cornstarch you're fine. It's talcum powder that causes the cancer ; - )

He will be able to use this dresser when he gets older. It looks like a regular dresser when you take the changing table off.

Such a cute dresser! I love baby furniture but I think we're going to get a full size dresser because for some reason baby stuff is priced higher. Plus I want him to have it when we convert his crib into a toddler/full bed...

I should have pointed out that my son knows he doesn't have ovaries. He is just a major goofball. He gets his weird sense of humor from his momma. Lol

Heidi, that's hilarious! I don't know all the specifics of the lawsuit but I know it said one older woman had been using it on herself all her life. I really don't even know how much baby boys will require baby powder, I just know someone bought it for me so I put it with the diapers and wipes on the changing table lol.

A.Jess14, I know that's right. Everything is a cancer risk these days lol. Of course I'm going to take all necessary precautions with my baby and myself but some things are just ridiculous.

The dresser is adorable. You saying he's a boy so ovarian cancer is unlikely reminded me about what my goofy almost 16 year old said. He seen the commercial that said "if you used baby powder and got ovarian cancer please call now and we can get you a settlement". He looked at me and said "did you use baby powder on me?" I was like "yes I did." He said "that's it I am calling and get me some money". I said "you don't have ovaries." He was like "they don't know that." I never laughed so hard in my life. Lol

Cute! The one we got from target for my daughter took hubby almost two hours to put together. I'm dreading having to get another for this baby haha

I heard that the talc in baby powder causes issues so I'm using talc free baby powder for my son.
