Stretch marks
I know they're genetic, but how much do you ladies think creams and oils really work? And which one/brand is the best?
The creams don't work I used all sorts with my first the biggest tip is eat sensibly don't gain unnecessary weight (not talking diet of course just healthy) and you will fare better on the stretch mark front. This is personal and family experience my mum doesn't have a single one after 3 children. I only got some from a pregnancy I gained more weight than needed.
Well either way, I won't be ashamed of my stretch marks if/when I get them. I see fit women all the time who aren't scared to show off their stretch marks. And they're so beautiful. Tiger stripes :)
Thanks ladies! I've got Burts Bees belly butter and some Palmer's cocoa butter, but I like the coconut oil suggestion. I think I might be doomed because my mom got them, but not all the women in my family do. So we will see ?
My last pregnancy I used coconut oil but not because I was worried about stretch marks but more because my skin was extra itchy but it was an internal itch so nothing helped. I gain an easy 70lbs each pregnancy (yikes) and I have no stretch marks. Hoping my skin is stretchy this time around as well.
My doctor said trying to get a lot of hydration and slow and steady weight gain will really help too! I've been doing raw mango butter everyday from boobs to butt as well.
