My dd is almost 5 months. She is starting to teeth and I hate giving her tylenol all the time. So tonight we ended our night the same. Bath, eat, sleep. Well she fell asleep woke probably 10 mins later and for almost an hour later she's finally sleeping again. Except this hour she screamed and cried- nursing, bottle, teething ring, binkie. Nothing helped her. And she screamed and cried while I sat there in the dark rocking her. Even walking around (habit I'm trying to break) wouldnt calm her down. I don't know what to do in times like these. I was about to cry with her until the tylenol finally kicked in and she finally fell asleep. I was ready to ball my eyes out with her. What can I do to soothe her! I'm at a loss :/

I tried frozen fruit in the mesh things during the day and half a dose of Tylenol at night. I hated giving Tylenol. But literally nothing else worked. I even bought one of those Amber teething necklaces and never noticed a difference :/

Try a cool, wet rag. Some babies love them. I'd recommend an amber teething necklace also. I used/still using them with both of my boys and they are wonderful. We were going through Tylenol like crazy with my oldest and the necklace made a night and day difference. My youngest is 11 months and has 11 teeth and we've only gone through one bottle of infants Tylenol. That was also used for an ear infection. I trust that they work.

Try hylands teething tablets. And I'll be honest when my kids were teething I rubbed Tylenol or Motrin on their gums and let them suck on ice from a mesh feeder

If they're that bad, there's nothing wrong with giving them tylonel. It just shouldn't be an all the time thing.
