All car seats have to pass the same safety tests, so all seats on the market are safe! I would recommend the Graco Contender 65 - it's a nice size, not too bulky and is both rear facing and forward facing. Look at Walmart.com - they're going for around $130 right now. You could also look up Car Seats for the Littles on Facebook and let them know your price point and your car make/model and they can recommend seats for you.

Do you have a target in your area, they normally have graco seats, you should check out the graco 4ever.

Well lorelei grew 3 inches in less than 2 months. And her height limit is 29 inches. So I'm trying to find something really safe since she's still so little. I was thinking about looking into graco! But idk anywhere that really has them!

The height limit isn't established for all seats as far as I am aware. Baby's head should just be at least one inch below the top of the carrier.

From what I remember, it takes a long time for a baby to grow three inches. What do you have right now? My daughter didn't grow out of her carseat until she was over 1. Just curious!
