insomnia
35 weeks and 6 days. Deffitantly have my fair share of the insomnia. Waking up every 30 mins to 1 hour. For weeks now. So sore I can't get comfortable. Well I just napped and slept for 3 1/2 hours straight without waking up once. And I'm just jumping with excitment. Time to eat and go back to bed ??

Hey I'm sorry I just seen this post! But yes. I have had an ultra sound every other week and an nst the weeks I didn't since I've been about 30 weeks. I also have GD so that is another big reason. My doctor has to make sure her umbilical cord does not go over my cervix and he won't worry unless it does. He also told me that sometimes with the cord insertion that it can cause baby to not get enough nutrients so thay is another reason they check on her so much.
But mostly I was so worried and scared for the first little while until I actually seen my doctor. It's not super common but it isn't anyrhing to worry to much about in thought and freak your self out. He also told me to not Google it because it is worse on there than anytbing!

Hi. I just found your posts when I searched for velamentous cord insertion. I was diagnosed yesterday and won't get to meet with my real doctor until next week. I'm just curious what extra precautions they had you take? Did they do extra ultrasounds and visits?
