Ahh the things you read on Facebook! This was from an older lady, she looked at least 60 yo in her picture. Imagine just having to break suddenly, it would be enough to send the baby flying! Good thing we know much much better now.
Different world back then. Cars didn't get above 30mph lol, didn't cause the wrecks they cause now. There was far less distraction from the road, no phones going off, less traffic on the roads in general. Car seats weren't as needed then, to compare times is pointless. My grand mother survived chewing dye cast cars covered in lead paint and my grandfather survived working in a chemical plant with very little health and safety rules in place, would we do that now because they survived? No, because we know better, do better.
My parents used to lay the seats down in our mini van so that my siblings and I could sleep and watch movies while laying down with sleeping bags and pillows when we were young. We'd make trips from NY to OH or GA to OH, so that's how they kept us occupied. ? Needless to say, my parents think I'm crazy because of my car seat rules.

Am I seeing things....
12 weeks (tomorrow) and bleeding
I feel so defeated. This exact thing thing happened with my son. Almost to the day. This this just sucks with so much family around.
any moms who work in medicine or healthcare feel like knowing too much is sometimes a bad thing? ugh, I swear my job gives me so much anxiety regarding my pregnancy.
What are the things you moms have packed for a diaper bag for the hospital? I want to know what is mandatory to bring before i pack extra stuff and how much i need to pack of each thing.
@zazu soo true lol
