I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. trying to potty train my daughter is So hard.. every time i put her on the potty she sits there but won't go.. then after we get out the bathroom she goes on her clothes 😢😢😢 so frustrating 😟😟😟
Potty training Has anyone started potty training. My daughter doesn't like to bed wet. When she pees she is pulling at her diaper but once I put panties on her she doesn't care. My boys were so easy to potty train.
Y’all how many of your kids that are 4 going on 5 not potty trained I am trying to prove a point to my bf my son will pee in the toilet but not poop in the toilet
Elimination communication/potty training. My little girl is 6 months old. I'd like to get her to associate potty with going potty! She cues that she is pooping DURING. Peeing, I haven't noticed any cues. Past 3 weeks, she has been peeing during diaper change on the table. I tried seeing if she pees when I take off the dirty diaper and have her over the toilet. Nothing. Until I bring her to the changing table. Is she just wanting to pee while laying down or is it the changing table association? Would it help to put a mini potty on the changing table or to move the table to the bathroom?? Obviously, keep trying is the key. But not sure how to move forward. She isn't sitting on her own yet. I have read that sometimes the baby starts to prefer peeing while sitting once they learn to sit on their own. Honestly unless she already knows when she is going to pee it wont work

She may not be ready...if she didn't know she was going when she had the accidents, she may not quite have the sensation down yet. If you're set on training her, you could try letting her be naked and see if that helps. But if she's ready, she will do it, if she's not then she won't. Good luck!

We just potty trained my daughter and she was like that at first. She wouldn't realize she had started peeing until it went down her leg. We just took a weekend and left her without pants. We would have her sit every hour and a half. If she didn't pee we would have her sit again in another 15-20 minutes. We only put pull-ups on her at night and haven't put a diaper on her since. It worked and she was potty trained within the weekend. Being naked made her realize when she was peeing I think because she didn't like the feeling of it.
