Is 'I wish you were a candle so I could blow you' romantic or sexual?

Sexual or romantic meaning?

A lady on a French-Canadian mommy forum on facebook was asking help to understand what a guy told her in English (she speaks only French). He said "I wish you were a candle so I could blow you" Some ladies were saying it was romantic and others that it had a sexual meaning. What do you think it means?

I don't see how any of that could be interpreted as romantic.

@jen. Pointe-St-Charles has such amazing community services! An awesome clinic (all CLSC in Quebec are modeled on this specific clinic. Ironically, they refused to become a CLSC). Everything is walkable distance: pool, parks, clinic, library... And there's Familles en action which offer activities all year long. Seriously, I loved it. I'm heartbroken. ???

I'm used to being out west. Just moved back from Alberta and don't know any mommies here, except for my cousin who just gave birth five weeks ago to twins. I would love a mom network.

What do you mean by community here? Groups? Neighbours, pool, etc?

@jen

We used to be in Pointe-Saint-Charles. We're there for 7 years but had to move real fast and couldn't find anything. My daughter is born at the LaSalle hospital. I'm followed there again for this baby and will give birth at the LaSalle hospital again. Man! We were sooooo close! ?

Pointe-aux-Trembles is nice. I just miss the community and my mommy friends.

@laebel in LaSalle. Where were you prior to? Not liking it that far east?

@Chewy whereabouts?

I would definitely take that as sexual. Also, a woman can technically receive a blow job. The name comes from a "below job" not from the act of blowing ?

@jen. Definitely! ?

Where are you in Montreal? I just moved at the east end of the island: Pointe-aux-Trembles. I'm having a hard time adjusting. ?

@Phaedra, she's French-speaking and he said it in English. She was asking because she had no idea what he meant and since it's a forum in French, English is a second language for everybody who was tring to help her :p

Wow! Nice line dude! ?

@jenvali: I am in Montreal too! ?

Is English his first language? Did he say it in English or French? Did she try and translate it from French to English? Is it a case of google translate gone wrong?

Translations don't always work word for word so id say it really depends

Only sexual and crude to boot. The verbal version of a dick pick

Eta: blowing a woman is possible it's not often put in those terms but means oral sex just as it does with a man

Sexual and rude.

I was also wondering how a man would blow a woman, that's why I wasn't sure :p

The ones who said it was romantic were thinking as "I'll blow you away". But yeah, I was thinking that there's no way it was not sexual!

If French is their first language, I get how they can misinterpret his words.

Which group is this? I'm in Montreal.
