2 year old and twins sleeping in same room help!
We are going to try get our 2 year old son to sleep in his own bed room. We got him a twin bed a couple months ago and he has no interest in sleeping in it. He has been sleeping in his pack in play in the living room where his daddy sleeps since last summer. So my first question is how can we get him to sleep back in his bedroom? Then in a couple weeks I was going to transition the twins, which will be 2 months next week, into the bedroom with my son to. They are sleeping mostly through the night now, getting up once or twice. So my next question is how do you have your children share one small bed room without everyone getting up if they hear the other, like the babies waking to feed? We are at a loss. Anyone have any good ideas that have worked for you?

Do you only have 2 bedrooms? I would hate to put my new baby in the same room as my 2 year old. I think it would make it very hard to put him to bed and have him stay asleep.

Yeah just a master bedroom and one other smaller bedroom. We live in condo. Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. But our master bedroom is right next to the other bedroom. He's gonna hear the babies no matter what I guess

Me personally, I would have kept my twins in our room longer if I was having to choose between them sharing with us or sharing with their brother. Just until night feeds are eliminated for the sake of his sleep. It must be hard when you are low on space though.

The older one will learn to sleep though all the noise. And same for the little ones. I think it's better for them - teaches them to be heavy sleepers.
My 5 and 2 year old share a room. When one of them randomly wakes up in the middle of the night the other sleeps right through it! They could be screaming and the other is totally oblivious.

I'd put the pack n play in his room as a transitional step. Let him get used to sleeping in that room in a bed he's familiar with then try to move him to the bed again.
As far as the other stuff, I have no advice ?

I don’t think I’d feel comfortable with babies that young in the room with the 2yo. But do ageee the pack and play in the bedroom would probably work best

Great, I was thinking of putting the pack n play in his room and doing that. Only problem is my husband let's him fall asleep on couch then puts him in the pack n play while he is still sleeping. That might be a problem when he wakes up in the middle of the night like he randomly does and cries out for daddy. As long as he know my husband is there he goes back to sleep
