halfway potty trained?
So we pretty much have our 2 year old son potty trained. All day today I have had him wearing no pants, and when he has to pee he say ugh oh pee pee and walks up to his little potty and pees standing up. He did it about 6 times already today. We have been showing him how to do this for a few months now starting with him watching my husband go. So everytime he would walk into the bathroom he would stand at his potty and try to pretend to pee I guess u would say. Then he just got better and better at it. Now my question is since we got him to pee in his potty, how do I teach him to wear undwear under his pants and also teach him to pull down his pants before he goes potty?

I had two full days where I stayed home with ds and kept him naked so he could go potty in the toilet each time. Then after those two days when we were home I just had him wear underwear and no pants. Then one day I think we went somewhere in the morning and I forgot to take his pants off when we got home so he just pulled them off and went. (All of this was about a week time period). He adjusted fine.
He does have issues when he wears jeans, i help unbutton them and pull them down his legs depending on the fit of the jeans. For the most part he simply adjusted with no tricks or bribing or anything.

And good job on him standing up! I’m a single mom and have been thinking the easiest way to teach him is to get a small urinal and use the stick on hook to hang it at his height in the bathroom.
