Well I've seen what happens to the wooden ones. Carpenter Bee's everywhere. Is there a way to prevent that. My husband's aunt's swing set from her kids has them all over it every year. And there are holes everywhere

We love our Costco set. It's a cedar summit brand and not overly elaborate. Has two swings and a trapeze bar, a tube slide, rock wall, club house.

My kids eat as many meals as they can out there. I will say set up was long(the slide alone was an 8 hour project) but play on it from the moment they get up until bedtime (4&2) hoping they will get many more years of enjoyment!

Yeah I don't think they ever treated it with anything unfortunately

Rainbow ?. Ours is a hand me down x3 and is still in amazing condition. We replaced a few rusted bolts and rotten boards, but other than that we haven't had any issues with it. They're very pricey, but worth it.

We love our metal swing set!! The brand is Lifetime. Ours was close to $900, I think, but it is very sturdy! My husband said no way was he putting a wooden one together! Ours is on Hayneedle, Wayfair and Walmart. Good luck!

I remember my brother and I had a metal one. It got pretty rusty. I also cut my head open on it from a rusty screw lol. She is going to hire someone to put it together thank goodness

I like the one in the link. It's almost identical to the one we have minus the climbing board on the side. My best advice is to shop around. I see that one is over $1k...the one that we have was $500 from SAMs club. We've had it for 5 years and it's held up quite well. No problems with carpenter bees or anything else.

Yeah I think thats pretty expensive. I would like to see her spend less. It will be in her yard. We don't have a yard ?
