best foundation brush

I would ask on the beauty page but it's dead over there. I think the brush I have is upsetting my skin, I'm very red and sensitive. It also makes my skin burn a little when applied. I got it from Rite Aide and it's one of their new line of make up brushes. So I need to know what the best type to use to apply liquid foundation is?

Beauty blender but it won't be as full coverage. The sigma f80 flat top is wonders, a dupe for that is the elf powder brush. The real technique expert is one of my favorites! I have an artis foundation brush as well but honestly I prefer my other brushes. I have a Mac brush I use as my foundation brush but I don't know the number it's all worn out. They have so many good options out there

I prefer the beauty blender too. It does soak up a lot of foundation though.

The MAC 187 brush is amazing or a damp Beauty blender. I do prefer the brush though

Damp beauty blender or you can actually use your finger if you're feeling ambitious. It takes forever but it works ??

Beauty blenders are the best. I absolutely hated the Real Techniques sponge. I've heard the new pink one made by L'Oreal is really similar to the beauty blender. I haven't tried it out for myself yet though.

The beauty blender ?

Beauty blender/real techniques or a stipple brush are my faves for foundation. Since I'm not into heavy foundation anymore I almost always use a real techniques sponge.

A damp beauty blender works wonders even the real techniques one works great. I used to use a flat kabuki brush also. Do you wash your brush at all? If not it probably has build up and that could be causing irritation

It depends on the coverage you want. I love a full coverage foundation, so I go for a more densely packed brush like the Morphe M439 or elf has a similar brush called the blurring brush I believe

But if you like lighter coverage I would suggest a sponge like the beauty blender or real techniques

I don't particularly care for flat foundation brushes because they seem to leave streaks when using liquids.

Beauty Blenders/ Real Techniques sponges or any sponges in general soak up more foundation that is true but if you dampen it, it blends and apples the makeup flawlessly. That's all I use.

Sigma f80

Edit- the beauty blender is actually supposed to use less foundation since you're supposed to wet it first. Either way no matter what you use, some product will be lost.

That's the foam thing right? I was told by girls in Ulta not to use anything that's a sponge because it soaks up a lot of the foundation. I don't know how true that is?

Or any other way to apply liquid foundation. I look on Amazon and there are so many things to chose from now
