22 month old constantly screaming
So in the past couple weeks my son has been on this screaming kick. He sounds like a high pitched girl screaming like she is being murdered. He screams for any reason he wants. The worst started last night at his bed time. Like every night, my husband goes to put him to bed and turns to walk out and my son screams his bloody head off. My son has been a great sleeper since he was 7 months old. 10 to 11 hours a night. But right now I'm waiting for the cops to come again for the second time today. Evil lady upstairs already called cops on him this morning. He just got done screaming his head off for 10 mins. Now it's quite. So my question is, is this normal for toddlers to start screaming for no reason? He also wakes up screaming in the morning now to. It's like something switched in him over night. Should I take him to doctors? Help!

Sounds like he either in pain or he doesn't want to be left alone. I'd take him to the doctors just to be on the safe side.

My dd did this randomly. My doc told me it was a phase. It was so awful. You could go check just in case.

My 22 month old does it randomly just a high pitch scream once unless the room echoes then he continues it. It's annoying and I tell him to be quiet and he'll get all pouty and find something else to do.
Mine only does it during the day I'd be concerned if it was affecting his sleep and happened at nighttime.

We got dd this mickey night light. We have to charge it. But when you take it off the charger, and flip it, it turns in to a night light. Its soft and easy to use. Would that help him feel more comfy at night?
Why did she call the cops? What did the cops say or what can they do anyways?
