5 weeks instead of 7 weeks?
Ok how does that even work when my last period was August 3 and I would have ovulated 14 days later. I went for my first ultra sound today thinking I was 7 weeks and 7 days. But she said I was only measuring 5 weeks and a couple days. Only saw yolk and sack and I think she said fetal pole. So does that mean I ovulated really late? My periods my whole life have been normal and on time. Since I had my son they were a little off. Like meaning sometimes they would come a week early and last about 7 days. I don't get how I could only be 5 weeks

They told me measurements can be off so early on, did they seem concerned or have they said to go back for another scan? Try not to worry xx

I go back in 2 weeks. So if they are saying I'm only 5 weeks and a couple days that should be right. But are they not counting the first day of my last period then that was on August 3? That's what would make me 7 weeks 7 days today. Wonder why they made appointment so early then

Not every women ovulates on day 14 every month. That can certainly cause us to be less further along then anticipated.

Well true. If she said I'm more like 5 weeks that just seems like it was closer to the end of August that I would have ovulated which would have been well over two weeks since my last period

Weird. I am 5 wks and my LMP was 8/22. Hopefully it'll all work out at the next scan

I think they are saying 5 weeks from conception maybe? And not counting the other weeks since my last period August 3
