Switching to Milk help
So at last we have the ok to start milk now that my son is 15 months. We had to wait to see if he grew more, hight wise and he did. He seems to drink it mixed with formula out of his bottle. I just tried it in a sippy cup and he was not into it. Doctor said ween him off formula in the next 8 days so just keep mixing more and more milk with less and less formula. So along with that I want to ween him off bottle with the exception of a before bedtime bottle. So a few of my problems are he does not like it really cold, he will not drink milk a of a sippy cup and milk leaks out of every sippy cup I have tried, even ones with straws. So if anyone has any suggestions, please, I would love to hear what u guys do.

Well my kids would never drink milk so we didn't really push it. There's other ways to get calcium. We also didn't do sippy cups at all. We went straight to a straw. Not only is it convenient (you can get a straw cup almost anywhere when you are out) but it's also supposed to be better for speech development. Our pediatrician said two baby yogurts were enough when my kids wouldn't drink milk. You could also try smoothies. But milk (or toddler formula) id unnecessary

Well so far he seems to like the milk it's just if I don't put it in a bottle he will not drink it. And he knows how to use a cup with a straw. If I put milk in a cup with a straw he will not drink much of it and the milk gets everywhere when he flings his cup around. Same goes for sippy cups

They make leak proof straw cups. We used those when my kids went through their "let's test gravity" phase. You might just have to go cold turkey and do no bottles. If he really wants the milk, he'll drink it.

You just need to find a cup that he likes and is willing to use. At that age my daughter would only use straw cups (no sippy cups that she had to tilt up). You can buy leak-proof straw cups.
Take your time with it. There's no need to wean him within a week. Take it one step at a time. You're trying to wean him off formula and off bottles at the same time which is making it more difficult and stressful.

Ok thanks guys so much. So there is a cup with a straw where it will not leak out of the straw? That's where I'm having the issue with those cups
