A friend if mine uses Gerber good start soothe, so we compared the two. The soothe isnt lactose free but it does have only a small amount of lactose so it is one that might work, since its all i have found its worth a try. Thanx

No, i know there's some milk in it, but it is lactose free. Even says right on the front of the can that its for lactose sensitivity. There is no lactose in the similac sensitive.

Yeah similac sensitive has milk in it. Are you meaning alimentum?

The base ingredient in Similac Sensitive is milk. Which is the same as Soothe. The ingredients are very similar. But I hope you find what your looking for. Try calling your pediatrician.?

Gerber soothe isn't lactose free

What about Gerber Soothe? I think it's comparable to the sensitive.. & I saw at Walmart the other day that it's WIC approved. Good luck!

Honestly I don't know because its been 10 years since we used formula. But maybe google lactose free formulas and then see if you can call the doctor before the visit and get a recommendation and new prescription. I'm sorry they are changing things on you!

We already have to have a prescription for the similac sensitive.

The wic office said they couldnt allow any one to have that formula since similac changed the calories, and no they didn't recommend anything, they just said to speak with pediatrician, and we will see her on the 18th.

Do they make any recommendations or say why? What about asking baby's doctor to write you a prescription for the formula he needs.
