I would mention to the flight attendant first thing that you are pregnant and it was recommended you stretch your legs a couple of times in flight. They are usually quite accommodating. I would try to walk up and down the aisle every hour (since it's a four hour flight) as long as the seat belt sign is off. If it feels weird just pop in the bathroom for a minute. Everyone expects a pregnant lady to go to the bathroom a lot. :)

As for getting up and walking... ( this may sound stupid). Do I just get up and walk up and down the aisle on the plane?? How often should I do that??

Walking around is great because it helps with circulation and preventing swelling and blood clots. Stay hydrated too. Get an aisle seat if you can as it will allow you to move more easily.

Wear comfortable shoes that will sort of stretch with your feet should they swell while in flight. I've heard many women say their feet swelled a bit while flying.

Aw! That stinks. But I guess it makes sense.

We will be flying on delta and they said its fine, but won't allow a pregnant woman to seat in the emergency exit row as pregnant women are not able to help people off the plane, or something like that...

Be sure to check with your airline to make sure they will allow you to fly. I think there might be an airline that won't let you fly after a certain point, even with a doctor's note. That's just something I've heard so I don't know if it's true.

Find out if you can get a seat in the emergency exit row too. You'll have more leg room. I think you ask at the gate. Whenever I fly with my husband, the gate attendant always asks us if we want to sit there because he is a big dude.

Yes you should get up and stretch.... I will be doing the same thing. I will be flying down for vacation to Florida from mass when I'm 32 weeks. You need to stay hydrated and walk and try to be in a spot where it is easy for you to get up to wall or go the bathroom. Keep yourself occupied and you can even stretch a bit in your seat!!! Have fun!!
