Well L&D was finally able to call me back... Went in had a quick pelvic exam.. And yup I have a severe yeast infection.. So they called me in a script... They believe its caused from all the antibiotics I had to be on when I had pneumonia...

My approved list says Monistat 7 and any cream treatment.

I know its not the soap cause no soap ever goes near there.

It could just be the soap you are using. I had the same problem and switched soap to dove sensitive unscented and the itching immediately stopped. Good luck!

Yeast infection will go away by lotsa liquids and cranberry juice.try that first before medications

All the otc meds i find say they are for external itch, but mine is internal so do i just have to deal with the itch until the infection is gone?

Sounds like a yeast infection. I got one with my first pregnancy. I took the 7 day one because they recommend the lower dose but I just read a great article about using garlic (yes, it sounds very odd but after reading the article, I think I'd try it). You can google it and decide for yourself. Hope you are feeling better soon

Yup sounds like a yeast infection to me. It's no big deal, just annoying and uncomfortable. You can get what you need right from the drugstore.

Sounds like a yeast infection to me, I got them during my first pregnancy/right after often. It sucks! My doctor recommended Monistat also.

Monistat or how ever u spell it. Its ok to use the one . I didnt get an ok for the 7 day

Canesten! The duo one is the best. I get thrush quite a lot and still use it.

I got a couple yeast infections with my last two pregnancies and I took Monistat one a day, which is what I prefer to take when I wasn't pregnant the Diflucan my doctor prescribed didn't work so she said it was ok for me to use the monistat, it doesn't harm the baby. A yeast infection can be itchy, irritation, cottage cheese like secretions are any of these your symptoms?

I just checked the list of approved OTC medications my doc gave me, and it doesn't have anything at all listed for yeast infection or anything like that...

Sounds like a yeast infection..you should have a list of meds that u can take ..I believe there is otc meds for that u can take!
