Hi kosh, things went great with my transfer yesterday. Had acupuncture before and after. Transferred 2 blasts. They were the only two that were ready to transfer yesterday. Was given the option of transferring 1 and freezing the other or transferring both, went with transferring both. Yesterday they said there was the possibility of being able to freeze 3 today. The embryologist called earlier today to tell me they managed to freeze 6. Absolutely delighted to hear that as none made it to freeze last time and also last time was day 3 transfer. So so happy :)

Going for acupuncture in about 9 days time again. The acupuncturist doesn't recommend doing acupuncture during the implantation stage as they don't want to interfere with anything, it's recommended to go 9-11 days after transfer.

Yup and loved it never believed In it until my fertility Dr said she saw a 30% increase in those who did and now she recommends it , my lady worked with my even a treatment before and after IVF , and I am now 6 weeks prego , she also helped with other things I was gong threw like back and neck pain , truly a believer ,

@Sara528 congrats on your pregnancy :) I will probably do FET sometimes in June or July. I need some time to heal and make sure my body is ready for another try.

@SamiCami I think you should go for it! Try to forger for a moment about your scars. I think this would be good for your mind and soul and help you relax and be easy on yourself. Being in peace with yourself might do wonders and who knows maybe thanks to that you will get your baby :) Think about the final result and why you are doing this :)

I've been very interested in doing it. My clinic works with a facility that comes to our office for treatments. They will do a 25 min (I think it's 25, maybe 30) session before transfer and after FET. I want to do it, anything to possibly help. ..my only problem is i'm very insecure about my body. I have a ton of "scars" and am worried that I won't be able to relax enough for it to even be worth the money... any thoughts?

I did it and it was very relaxing. I got pregnant during my first ivf while on acupuncture but I also miscarried at 6.5 weeks. I don't think it helped or hurt. I am 13 weeks tomorrow from a FET and didn't do it this time.

I have been doing accupuncture for about 5 months he did a session the day before my FET which was yesterday 3/34 and wants me to come back again 3/28/14 for another session plus he has me taking a combination of herbs and vitamins.

Thanks kosh! Yeah think we've made the right decision, our last fresh was a 3 day and it failed and none made it to freeze. We're not sure as of right now possibly 2. The embryologist said they would transfer the best one but if none were going to make the freeze they'd transfer 2. If they were to transfer the best one and freeze one i'd ask that they didn't freeze the one and just implanted it too due to the last time failing and also I know not all embryos survive the thaw. Would be a nightmare if you got your body all ready for the frozen transfer and it didn't survive the thaw, would be a waste.

I went this morning for my 2nd beta, it came back at 2496, which is awesome, (1st was 2 days ago at 1104) but I'm cramping sooo sooo bad.. this is probably the first I've got em this strong. I've parked my behind on the couch n praying sooo hard that its just more implantation. I'm even debating to take baby aspirin

@klung Hahaha yep at this point everything makes you nervous, pain than no pain ;) And people used to tell me pregnancy is nothing ;) When's your appointment?

Thanks kosh! so we heard from the embryologist today, embryos doing better than last cycle. We had to make a big decision today. We were given the choice of doing a transfer today or tuesday. They gave us the choice because it's our second cycle if it was our first cycle they wouldn't of even considered doing a day 3, they would go for a day 5. So after a big chat we went for a 5 day so transfer is Tuesday. ? so excited but nervous too. Will keep you posted!!

A nurse recommended it to me & I went for one appt but it was expensive \ I realized I couldn't do that & pay my medical bills, so I had to give it up...my thought on it is, it can't hurt to try & see if it can help...

That's the spirit! Spread positivity! :) I'm doing my best to stay positive too! I panic at every pinch, cramp n twinge.. nvm the lack of symptoms hehe...

@klung oh I know ectopic was a nightmare. I was so relieved when I found out that this time little one was at the right place and at least we were able to see him/her during ultrasound. I'm trying to concentrate on positives. For some reason this one is not meant for me either. I just have to keep trying :)

Thanks koshka!! Will do :) I had an ectopic in '12 which blocked both my tubes from the pregnancy itself n hemorrhaging inside, ectopics suck! N I'm sorry for ur losses... Kmfx for u to start ur journey soon sweetie!

I've been doing it for a month now. I absolutely love it! The needles don't hurt at all. Such a calming and stress free experience!

@klung congrats on you bfp :)! So exciting. Wishing you happy and healthy pregnancy. As well please keep me updated on your journey. I had 3 ectopic pregnancies and finally decided to do ivf. Got pregnant but pregnancy is not progressing well so Dr said that I will have MC. So now I'm waiting...I will definitely try acupuncture and who knows maybe next time around I will finally get my baby too :)

I think it works. My fresh cycle failed in November n this fet (just got my bfp last sunday) it worked! N I did acupuncture this cycle. I've had 4 losses too n I'm praying soo hard for this pregnancy to stick.. this time around I'm more hopeful. I feel different. I think this time is it. :) good luck

I did it and got pregnant my first round of IVF but miscarried at 9 weeks. It's very relaxing.

Hi kosh, I had a failed fresh ivf in October. I'm doing another fresh round just now, my transfer is either tomorrow or Tuesday. This time I've done acupuncture, I've been doing it once a week since the beginning of January. I can't say if it's going to work for sure as I've not had my transfer yet. It does help with lots of people, so I'm hoping I'm one of them. Good luck!
