Kind of stressed out!

So I live in a state where I have all of about two friends and no family. Met these friends at work so they are also coworkers.

You need to sit her down and let her know that her behavior is unacceptable and that she hurt your feelings. She also needs to know that it's not a hotel, she's expected to contribute by cooking her own meals (at least!) and help keep things tidy. If you let her continue to treat you like a doormat, that's exactly what she's going to do. Good luck :)

She finally showed up here at 11:30. I unlocked the door told her daughter to tell her mom to help herself to a shower or food or what ever they wanted but that I was not feeling well and would be in bed. And I have been in my room ever since with no more interaction between the two of us tonight.

Right now I am awake at 2:45 am because I am coughing my lungs up and am super uncomfortable. I just hope she doesn't expect me to wake up and cool them breakfast and do their laundry too.

I wish my SO was here to advocate for me because I can hardly speak. He's out of town for the next two weeks and I really miss him and need him for this. :(

Honey it sounds like she needs to go! She can't expect you to wait on her hand and foot. She shouldn't expect you to help her move or stay up all night waiting for her to get home. :( I'm sorry you are having to deal with this :( you might want to go ahead and tell her to find another place before her attitude gets worse and she refuses to leave. :(

She shouldn't be getting nasty with you when you're the one taking her ungrateful self in! I would let her know that too. Just because she's your coworker doesn't mean she can walk all on you.

My dh and I had two of our friends who were also our coworkers (they were married and swingers) stay with us while they were moving to our town. Needless to say they brought another woman (some drunk chick from the bar) into my house for the night without telling me. Let me just say when I found out I threw them out immediately. I will never have friends live temporarily with us again.

By now I would have told her to move somewhere else where her attitude was approved.

Not trying to be harsh, but she knew she had to move, couldn't find the time to prepare better, and is now having an attitude with the only person willing to open their home so they aren't living in a shelter or elsewhere?

Not in my house

She did try to prepare sooner the apartment complex

Screwed up both apartments she had tried to lease so she had to find a new complex because they raised her rent way too high for her to stay in the unit she was in.

The new complex doesn't have anything available for 6 weeks. I went with her to multiple complexes and noone had anything available when her lease was up.

I just wish that i wasn't treated like a doormat. I mean I would hope someone would step up and help me if I ever fell in a situation like that but damn. I could have said take your stuff and get out.

I am trying to be nice since I do have to work with her but geez I really want to unleash the pregnancy hormones I am feeling right now. Too bad I am so sick I can't really voice them. :( guess she is lucky.

I don't see why she couldn't have prepared better. If i move i make sure to keep my old place until my new one is ready. If she's locked out oh well there's always motel 6 they'll leave the lights on for her.

This gets worse. So at 10:15 I text her and ask her if they are ok and if they are staying here tonight. She proceeds to b**** me out and tell me yes they are fine and leaving now and that she has been going all day non stop with no help and she doesn't appreciate me ignoring her txt (which I never got) and calls (which I returned both missed calls only to get her voicemail. Both times) and then ordering her to come here. And she doesn't appreciate me using the term lock her out.

Well wtf lady? What else am I supposed to say? I am opening my home to you and your daughter for 6 weeks, I am pregnant and haven't asked you for a dime of money or your time to help me because I am sick or pregnant but I have volunteered my time to help you until I fell sick.

This is the thanks I get. I am seriously in tears.

In sorry you are going through this! I have learned that living with people is really hard. My Hubby and I have decided nobody else is allowed to live with us ever again! It's just too stressful! We have one of his friends live with us and he was so gross! He refused to shower we had to make him! It was just too much :( good luck though :)

I do not have an extra key for her and she told me she would be staying tonight. She is still not back from where ever she went. It is 9:15 at night and she left over 4 hours ago after dropping her stuff off. She hasn't called me or sent me a text and I am getting tired myself and would like to go to bed as I am still feeling under the weather but I do not want to keep her locked out and I do not want to go to sleep with my doors unlocked. I tried to call her but she is not answering my calls.

I realize this move was stressful for her but I think it's rude to expect that I am going to wait up for her to magically appear when she hasn't told me when she is coming back. Ugh... I feel awful i want to be understanding and sympathetic to her situation but at the same time I do not want to feel walked on and taken advantage of which is pretty much how I am feeling on day 1.

My friend and her son lived with me and Dh (who worked away during the week at the time) for a month when she was buying her house. We had a house so they had their own room. It wasn't too bad but we didn't work together so we weren't together all the time.

I would not take her attitude if I were you.

Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill? He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over tonight and run it by him...
