Is it unusual? Going through this forum and seeing u/s pics I find that they are all different than…

I do ultrasounds for a living. Babies can lay head up, head down, in a sideways position, face up or down.. They will flip around for a while until the end of pregnancy when there isn't anymore room. Don't worry about any of that, the doctor is right not to be concerned. Nothing you said indicates anything is wrong :)

my son was laying face down and just thought maybe because he was a.boy but this one is the same just turning towards the left my son was towards the right. so it's fine most baby's lay different than others but always talk to your doctor

Hey! I saw this post last week and didn't have anything to add since it had never happened to me... Until yesterday! We had our anatomy scan and our LO was face up for the first minute and then (with great effort) did a complete flip and ended up face down! While it didn't provide the adorable profile pictures, it was amazing to see her flip her while body around in one quick move. My ultrasound tech wasn't concerned about it either.
