Pregnant all Summer
Am I the only one that's not excited to be in my 3rd trimester during the hottest time of the year? ? I hope it's not too miserable and hot. I'm due July 25th.
My daughter was born in September 3 years ago. It wasn't that bad, I was swollen. I wore skirts and dresses a lot. I'm thrilled to be having a summer baby. I was born in the winter and as a kid a winter birthday wasn't much fun lol
Honestly I'm over the moon I'm even pregnant. Been trying for a year and finally got my bfp. Praying this little blessing grows healthy and stays with me. This is our last one. We only want 2 kids. Anytime of year is a blessing in my book ??✝️
I'm due July 12th, and it's usually not bad here until July, so I'm not too worried about it. I am worried about having a newborn when it's so hot. I can't baby wear outside and I'll be fretting about the car being hot. Luckily I'm a big homebody, so we won't go out much in the beginning.
Summer babies are fun. Staying hydrated can be difficult. This is my third pregnancy and my second summer baby. My first DD was born at the end of July and it actually rained the week of her birth so it was cooler than normal. Honestly the more hot it is the less clothes you wear. I wore a maxi dress almost every day and I will never regret it.
I'm looking forward to it. Relaxing by the pool as much as I can! My son and I are water bugs! He was born early October so I was pretty big all through summer with him and it was only bad because at the time we lived in Germany and they don't use central air! So I don't think it will be bad this time :)
Okay first of all, I am NOT complaining about being pregnant. I said I am not excited about being pregnant almost all Summer. Those are two completely different things. I'm very blessed to be able to have this amazing, wonderful journey ahead of me.
Pregnancy is beautiful yes, and my heart breaks for women that have lost children and that are unable to get pregnant.
However, guess what? Sometimes being pregnant can be unpleasant. Especially in the hot, dry Summer. So if anyone is offended by this, especially mommies that have angel babies, I'm truly sorry but I shouldn't not be allowed to express how I feel.
My first was born 6/1 and I loved that pregnancy and having a newborn in the summer! My second was born 10/10 and it wasn't super hot here in September or October, but I liked being able to wear tanks and maxis most of my pregnancy. I love summer babies, they're the easiest in my opinion, and I love spending time with my family off of work in the summer!

*Also I'm NOT complaining about being pregnant. I'm very blessed to have my sweet little baby growing inside of me, and if I had to I would spend the whole 9 months in 100°F weather if it means my baby is happy and healthy ❤
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Talonsmommy, how funny! We are super busy in the fall so that made an October due date tough. We go to lots of fall festivals and pumpkin patches and I was worried to take our daughter by myself!
I don't think anyone needs to apologize. Every single comment can be a trigger for someone else...talking about morning sickness and someone that suffered a loss would love to toss their cookies and pee their pants all day long...
But someone made the comment about footies in the summer, I hate footies on babies since it makes their feet smell and hairs can get wrapped around their toes. I would much rather not worry about socks and put them in cute skirts and shorts!
