My beautiful baby boy arrived 7 weeks early on the 22nd July (due date was 9th Sept). His name is Rex and we can't remember life without him. My waters went one week earlier at 32wks gestation, I was treated conservatively with antibiotic cover, steroid injections for baby's lungs and close monitoring of my temperature and fetal heart rate.

Wow our stories are so similar!!! I agree with you 100%, it feels so unnatural leaving him there every night.That's great you've been able to room in. I had breast surgery many years ago so unfortunately I've been unable to breastfeed but Harry is loving bottles, he's almost gone a full 24hrs of bottle feeds no tube feeds yay! They are taking the tube out today so he shouldn't be there too much longer. The night before he leaves they are letting us room in which I'm so happy about. Sounds like Rex will be able to go home soon! Good luck and good work Mumma! xx
