Help from someone who's been in labor before.
I'm a FTM so I'm not sure what to expect but I'll be 35 weeks on Monday and all morning I've had a dull "menstrual" cramp feeling. It doesn't come and go, it's a dull cramp. I've had two bowel movements this morning (one in the AM is normal for me) and my back is also hurting this morning. No change in discharge and I wear pads so I can gauge changes in discharge etc. Should I call my doctor? I know she will say to come in and get checked but I wanted some advice first. I don't want to be that overly paranoid FTM. Thanks!
With my first i started out with period like cramps and then it progressed to full contractions (stomach tightening and time able) with in a couple hours. I was only in labor for maybe 8 hours with my first. With my second i never had consistent contractions, but my water broke and he was here 4 hours later. If you feel like its the real deal or it doesn't go away it never hurts to call and go in.
I had something similar a week ago. I lay down with my feet up and drank water and it went away. Had doc appointment the next day and she said whenever you have what feels like menstrual cramps and it doesn't go away after about an hour or an hour and a half, you should get it checked out. Also agreed with what I had read online about putting feet up and drinking water because dehydration often causes those cramps. Good luck!
Everyone’s labor is different. If something seems off then its always best to get checked right away if your still early. You might be at the point where they wont stop your labor and if so they will tell you to stay home till it become unbearable. Ive been having menstrual like cramps now for a week and i believe its from the pressure down there, its comes and goes too, more based on if i need to pee, how baby is positioned, how im sitting/standing. Not labour for me. Just go with your gut and if you feel unsure call or go in!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
Thanks ladies! I decided to wait it out and as long as things don't drastically change then I'll be checked on Wednesday anyway.
