Nesting at 15 weeks?

I cleaned out a bunch of stuff last night from what will be baby's closet and for 6 hours today I worked in my step daughter's room organizing, cleaning, and purging. This is not like me, lol. Is it too early to be nesting??? At this rate my house will be spotless and organized in no time.

No to early, you will go through phases of nesting. Just do it when you can because there will come a time when you can't ?. I'm trying to get as much done now cause I'm already feeling the affect of this pregnancy and know I'm not gonna be up for it later.

Still nesting! Today I washed a load of clothes, a load of towels, a load of dishes, cleaned out clothes I haven't worn in years and separated them for Goodwill, hand me downs, trash. My next plan is to reorganize my shoe cabinet & living room hutch which seems to be a catch all! I agree with the person above, I want to do it now while I feel like it and can or he's going to be doing it alone and that will drive my OCD crazy.

Same here! I didn't know if it was nesting or just being neurotic but 2 weeks ago I washed all the walls in the house and even used murphys oil to clean the floors and baseboards. I'm anxious to declutter and organize all our closets, paint the nursery and get everything set up! ?

Due with #2. We started cleaning out stuff and getting the house ready. I can't imagine doing it later on in pregnancy and I want stuff organized while I can still do some if it myself.

Hubby was reluctant but I told him he could help now or do it in the winter and solo. He agreed that maybe we should do it now while I can. ??

Glad to know I'm not the only one! My house is so small (900sq ft) and we are so limited on storage I am just in a panic trying to create organization especially since school starts soon then it's holiday season, I want to get as much done now that I feel energetic so I can enjoy the chaos that the holidays bring without trying to do everything "baby" along with it.

Me too, I am usually really lazy and of late I have been on a cleaning and organizing spree!

I'm desperate to do this, but I'm already in agony with spd so I'm trying to come up with ways I can not move much, but still declutter, reorganize & feed my need to 'nest'!

You're not alone. When I first get my energy back and I felt like cleaning it was 10 pm at night. We had moved in our new house when I first found out we were expecting and we still had a lot of boxes still packed 2 months later. When I got my energy back I went crazy unpacking and cleaning. I'm so nervous that with the holidays coming up and so much going on with the excitement of a new baby I will run out of time organizing before baby gets here.

I am doing the same thing!! Maybe it's because we have our energy back this trimester. I told my husband I want everything organized by the end of November. Now if these three boys of mine would get the memo to keep it all nice and neat, we would be in great shape lol

Started to have an overwhelming nesting feeling last night. I started to clean and organize (i don't care much for cleaning since my husband is the neatfreak) and I cried when he told me no and to do ot a different way. Today after errands, I resumed cleaning starting in the baby's room, cleaning the blinds. I told him f*ck off and just let me do it. He won't be bothering me during cleaning/organizing anymore unless it's to offer help
