I second the binder. It just kept everything from feeling like it's going to fall out. I was given pain meds but only took ibuprofen.

Thank you for replying I didn't have any pain meds after my last section as they don't offer much to breast feeding mums here, I will look at a binder though for after that sounds like a good idea, as for the tubal I have to have it done for medical reasons so not much hope of getting out of that it's only a quick fix I'm having a hysterectomy later this year anyway so hopefully I won't suffer to much good luck with your babies ? everything goes well xx

I'm scheduled for my 3rd c/s tomorrow. Walk as soon as you can, it doesn't have to be far but every little bit helps. You'll start feeling better sooner than if you put walking off. Stay on top of your pain management don't try to skip doses of meds you'll put yourself in far worse pain & then it's harder to get to a comfortable level again. Take a stool softener to help with passing bm's the last thing you need is constipation which can be a side effect from the pain meds. Listen to your body you'll know if you've pushed yourself too much. I'll be trying an abdominal binder for the first time this go round so I can't vouch much for them but have heard many women rave about using one. As for getting your tubes tied? I did that after my second & it caused nothing but problems. My body was out of wack until I had a reversal done. It made menstrual cramping 1000X worse than I had ever had them. My cycle was never normal, I bled like crazy & multiple times per month. My husband plans on getting snipped, there are far less side effects & complications for the man vs the woman. After tomorrow we'll have 3 kids I have 2 from a previous relationship & 1 together. Pregnancy has been rough so when I agreed to have my tubes untied he agreed to 1 pregnancy & since seeing what I've gone thru he was more than willing to be the one to get fixed

Stay positive! You will do great. I've heard recovery is slightly tougher because of the tubal, but I don't know. (I'm hoping to get pregnant again within a year..it would be my 4th csection and tubal). At least it will be done all at once! Stay on top of meds, walk..walk..walk, and take all the help offered. You will do great!! Congrats on your 4th!!!
