Circumcision *medical reasons*

My son had to have it done when he was tiny from medical reasons they made sure he was very comfortable after , gave me some amazing cream and he healed so quick

My son needs to have it done for medical reasons but due to a weight issue and another on going issue it's been delayed. He's nearly 9. The operation itself is very simple and actually takes long to put them to sleep than do. Aftercare is very important, it needs to be kept clean due to infections. But as long as it's looked after healing time is quite quick ? Good luck, I'm dreading mine having it xx

My nephew had it done for medical reasons last year. He's 6. His skin was too tight and got to the point he couldn't wee properly x

They heal really quickly if he is in nappies then you can use a dollop of vaseline as a barrier to stop rubbing. The hospital should give you stuff to keep the area clean. Good luck xxx

Thank you, Aw bless your son so awful to see them in pain isn't it ? I'm really hoping they change their minds, he had his tonsils out last year and that was bad enough to watch, I'm petrified of this as they said they will have to put him to sleep as there is no way he would let them touch him he didn't take well to it last year as he's so under weight I know its for the best in the long run for him though ? xx

Sorry no advice but my son did go through an operation down below when he was that age ( undescended testicle which ended up not being there ) . It's not nice to see them go through it but you will be fine :-) , and hope it all goes well x
