Reduced movement 29 weeks
Ugh I'm freaking out. Baby boy has been so quiet today ? rang the midwife and got the usual "eat something sugary and lie down" I've already done that ? heartbeat is great on the doppler but I'm still terrified.
He's only taking after his mama with the lazy days I suppose ? can't blame the poor little dude. He's been moving great the past few hours so I feel better.
@gray I know right! I'll have so many grey hairs by the time this little boy gets here ? hopefully he's just going through a growth spurt. Really need the next few hours to fly ? he's still moving though so that's making me slightly less anxious....slightly....
Ok I've gotten some good kicks and movements since writing this. Not enough to ease my mind but I am breathing a little easier. I have a scan early in the morning so that's giving me some peace of mind too. Hopefully the little brat is just being lazy. I've had a bad chest infection and flu all week so that could be something to do with it too. Fingers crossed the scan goes well
I don't want you to write this off as something menial because if you feel something Is wrong it might be but at 28-29 weeks my baby had a major growth spurt and rarely moved. 30 weeks rolled around and he was bouncing around like his normal self again. And 27-30 weeks is a common time for grow spurts.

!!!!LABOR STORY!!!!
Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! I called the midwife at my hospital and told her I lost it and was having really bad cramping and she told me I was fine and was prob just having BH contractions.
The next day I was having what I thought were strong BH contractions every 10-...

My heart is incredibly heavy today and I'm in tears as I write this. I don't know if last night or this morning should be counted as the worst day of my life. I got a call from my hysterical mom last night around 11:30. From what I could understand through the sobbing was, my dad was in the hospital and they wouldn't let her see him. I race to her house, a LONG 45 minutes away to find SEVERAL police cars in her driveway, crime scene tape everywhere and people in paper booties and gloves walking ...

Really long post but need to get this off my chest! SORRY 🤦🏻♀️
So after a long talk me and my OH have decided this is our one and only baby. I've never really told the full story of my labour as I hadn't fully come to terms with it and when I did open up about certain things people made me feel guilty.
So after a rough last month of pregnancy I had to be induced due to low fluid. I was in hospital being induced for 3 days before they could pop my waters.
I spent 11 hours on the drip with just gas ...

💬 I was 38 weeks & 2 days when my beautiful girl decided to come. It was at 12:30am when I got my first contraction. I try taking a bath to be sure I was contracting & it wasn't Braxton hicks. When I realize how frequent the pain was coming I knew that it was the day she was coming. I called the hospital after two hours of cont...
