Hospital rant OT

Ugh. Just been to the hospital today to get a 'mole' removed. I say a mole, it's a cluster of blood vessels (can't remember the scientific name for it). This is the third dermatologist consultant I've seen. THIRD. The first one diagnosed the bowen's disease on my forehead so I got it removed (by my gp). The second one I saw was a follow-up appointment to check that it's gone and not grown back (When I saw her I asked her to check a 'mole' on my bum, she told me it was a blood-vessel 'thing' and said I could get it removed - cosmetic procedure more than anything because she said there was a chance that it would grow if I didn't remove it). So here I am sitting in the consultants room in my thong (as it's on my cheek). The consultant looks at me and asks me what have I got and what am I doing there. He then proceeded to tell me that he only treats benign lesions and also questioned my bowen's disease by asking who diagnosed it and said it probably wasn't as I wasn't old enough to have it' HOW CAN YOU QUESTION WHETHER I WAS MISDIAGNOSED SINCE THE LESION IS NO LONGER THERE FOR YOU TO LOOK AT!! ALSO STOP ASKING ME QUESTIONS THAT PROVE YOU HAVEN'T READ MY NOTES BECAUSE IT SERIOUSLY MAKES ME QUESTION YOUR COMPETENCE! So not only did I get a wasted journey I've also been made to feel like a time waster! Ugh!
