For me-

Комментарии

I have to be honest when I had Zachary I breast and bottle fed - breast all the time except one bottle in the evening to help him sleep longer. Then I'd breast feed at night but top up with formula after each feed. My supply decreased with that first evening bottle making night time feeding harder and I had to stop breast feeding at 5 weeks because I was barely producing any. The fact that when I stopped I did so suddenly, just straight to bottles and didn't get in the slightest engorged which proved to me how detrimental the extra bottles had been.

This time with Albert I was determined. I got a lady from the hospital to call to my house to help with latching which was brilliant - she literally came whenever needed and I could phone her for help or peace of mind whenever I wanted. It was hard at first and cluster feeding is a Bugger but he is 8 weeks now and breast feeding like a champ! I expressed for an evening bottle to start with just to help with that hungry time but now it's all breast and its great! It's all about perseverance but is well worth it! A friend said to me once you get past two weeks you've cracked it and she was right!

Sorry for the lecture!
