Feeding baby longer?
So we went and saw a nurse from kaleidoscope.
I can't express. Well I can express but literally get 30ml.. Takes me about 10 minutes to get that and no more will come out. I've tried stopping and starting etc, nothing works ? he just fights off because he's done. So it's impossible to get him to feed for 20 min.
I'm only offering the breast, I'm not trying to force it down his throat ?
I'm not having anymore f^cking kids in that case ? I don't mind the day feeds but the night feeds are ridiculous. One can only last so long on little/no sleep ?
Honestly, feeding that often is normal. My eldest fed at least every 2-3 hours til 2. She was also petite. You can't force a baby to feed longer, and be careful you don't create a negative association to breast feeding by forcing it. I would just offer more frequently and leave it at that.
Some babies are small and snack frequently, others are bigger.
He is. He's 7 months and one week and he's been on solids since he was 6 months. He's having 3 meals a day and no change in sleep. ?
It's okay, I don't either hahah.
No I haven't, I thought I needed a referral to see them? I have no idea.
I saw them in Raymond terrace. The only useful thing she told me was about a eczema clinic in John hunter I should get a referral to for Noah.
He's up every 2 hours, sometimes less. He won't go back down without a feed. I've tried to have someone else settle him and he just screams and screams until I feed him ?
Can you offer him a protein meal for dinner and seen if it helps? What's he having for dinner atm? Try adding meat or eggs to his dinner if he isn't already having it
